LDT Response Statement Concerning Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Line Drive Trucking’s management team has been closely monitoring the situation and impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and is taking steps to ensure business continuity and the wellness and safety of our employees.
Because the regional truckload, LTL, drayage and warehousing services we provide in California, Texas and Arizona are vital to our customers’ supply chains, we have business continuity best practices in place to minimize the potential operational impact this outbreak may create. LDT remains fully operational at our facilities in southern California and Texas, continuing to service all transportation while adhering to government and health regulations. Our continuity processes include back-up for our TMS, WMS, systems and network operations to ensure access and visibility to accurate, reliable data in real-time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are committed to maintaining high quality service and dependability for our customers as they continue to fulfill orders and keep inventories flowing. Our hours will remain the same at all facilities, and LDT is taking all of the necessary precautions in the best interest of our customers, employees and their families.
We also have taken steps to enable our employees to work remotely as the need arises and government mandates. The safety of our employees and their families continues to be our utmost priority. We recognize this situation remains very fluid. We will continue to monitor the impacts to global and domestic transportation daily.
As the situation changes, we will take this day by day and follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as local and U.S. government officials.
